FAQ

Someone once observed that a bike is a unique machine in which the passenger is also the engine. Our open-air pedibusses have seats lining both sides and a back bench for riders to sit on. Only instead of just sitting there, you pedal! Riders work together to propel the bike around the city streets, stopping at historic landmarks – and of course at popular pubs. It is the perfect vehicle for historic tours, team-building events, school trips, pub crawls, family outings, and stag and hen parties.
Unless otherwise arranged in advance, our tours generally start and finish at The Harbour Hotel by the Galway Docks. Certain pub crawl tours end at Monroe’s Tavern on Dominick Street.

Our tours are fairly priced and certainly won’t break the bank. A 1.45-hour tour is €35 per person. The three-hour tour is €50 per person.

Fear not, no one in your group will have to drive. Our trusted and professional drivers will steer the bike. Your group can relax, have fun and listen to music, but will also have to pedal!

Two of our pedibusses can carry up to 15 people. There are ten seats with pedals, two without pedals and a three – person bench on the back row to sit back and relax (just ride – no pedalling). Our smallest bike can carry six passengers. The Bug bikes can hold six passengers normally, but there is room for one more person in the centre seat!
Our tours require a minimum of at least eight legs (four pedallers!) at a time to make the experience as enjoyable as possible. Obviously, the more people cycling, the less work involved!
No problem, but they must be in closed containers, and they can’t be alcoholic (don’t worry, we do pub stops!).
