Best thing to do in Galway

Pedal Power Galway is the brainchild of local man Paul Murray. Pedal Power Galway was one of the winners at GMIT’s Startup Weekend in October 2015 (a Dragon’s Den type competition).

Five months after being one of the winners, Paul’s vision of group Pedi bus cycling tours of Galway became a reality. PPG’s inaugural tour began on March 14, 2016, at the Bank of Ireland on Mainsguard St. The bikes have attracted both print and radio attention.

The bikes have been a major part of all the Saint Patrick’s Day parades in Galway City ever since! The bikes have also been involved in the Gay Pride parade on several occasions.

After a decade on the streets, Paul’s fun, distinctive, and iconic bicycles have become a familiar sight on Galway city’s streets every weekend.
